Allotments

Allotment gardening can be a very rewarding pastime providing an affordable source of fruit and vegetables and an opportunity to meet people with a common interest.

Bishops Clyst Parish Council owns and manages an allotment site with 24 plots and a mains water supply. If you are interested in taking a plot, or a half plot, please email the clerk@bishopsclyst.org.uk.

The allotment plots are leased for the period of one year from April to March. When an allotment becomes available the Parish Clerk will send you a tenancy agreement which should be signed and returned. Payment to be made by bank transfer to Bishops Clyst Parish Council. Account details will, of course, be provided. The rent for the period 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 is £45.00, plus water charge per allotment plot making atotal of £65.00.
