Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) enables local authorities to raise funds from new development to help deliver infrastructure. East Devon District Council introduced CIL on the 1st September 2016 for new residential and retail development. An annual report of our spend on CIL money will be published. Detailed guidance on CIL may be found at https://eastdevon.gov.uk/planning/community-infrastructure-levy-cil/ and Town and Parish Council CIL.
